When you think of Canada often your first thought is of Vancouver. A city that offers so many different cultures and sites you could spend a year visiting this town and never take in all it has to offer.

Vancouver will be home to the 2010 Olympics and is proudly gearing up for this major event. With beautiful mountains in the background and a dazzling waterfront in the foreground, you can experience skiing in the morning and sailing when you are done.

Vancouver is home to the largest Chinese population in North America. Chinatown itself is worth a full day of exploring. Filled with historic buildings, including the world’s narrowest, great eateries and wonderful shops you could stay all day. You will find many exotic herbal shops and great import stores located in this area.

Gastown is where Vancouver began. Walk down cobblestone streets and explore online games this quaint area with its wonderful shops and restaurants. Historical buildings line the streets and the area is rich in culture.

For unmatched outdoor fun you must visit – and walk across- the Capilano Suspension Bridge! This swaying suspension bridge is located in a rainforest and provides a view of the area from 70 meters up.

Stanley Park Seawall is another fabulous outdoor activity. This park is a ten kilometers circle that provides the visitor with views of the ocean, the mountains the city and the forests. Located here also is the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Center. This highly acclaimed attraction is also one of the five largest aquariums in North America.

Grouse Mountain provides entertainment for nature lovers in one of two fashions. You may hike to the top via the Grouse Grind trail or take a tram to the top viewing the city and landscape in a way that you can only appreciate from there.
