Saskatchewan

Saskatchewan is located in the western part of Canada between Manitoba and Alberta. It is just north of Montana and North Dakota of the United States.
Saskatchewan is a beautiful area that is not over populated and provides its visitors with a large variety of outdoor recreation and cultural events.

Saskatchewan is filled with many contrasts. Large urban areas that offer all the amenities of big city life as well as a vast prairie landscape that is filled with over 100,000 rivers and lakes. Saskatchewan boasts over five million acres of park land split between two national and 34 regional parks.

Regina and Saskatoon are the two major cities in Saskatchewan. Each city offers the visitor many unique sites to visit. Regina, also known as The Queen City, is the provincial capital. It began as a tent settlement on the banks of a small creek and was originally named Pile o’ Bones. Saskatoon is home of the University as well as many cultural and entertainment sites.

The true beauty of Saskatchewan lies in its scenery. Vast open plains that are engulfed in a never ending sky or mountain tops peeking from the distance, it can all be seen here. The many parks and recreation areas that you can visit here are a dream for the nature lover. Hiking, boating, swimming and fishing are just a few of the outdoor activities you can enjoy along with playing golf.
